Australians to live longer: women to 90, men to 86

Treasury — the money advisers — say Australian women will live to almost 90 and men to 86 by 2065-66, up from about 86 and 82 today. The figures are an early peek at its 40-year budget stocktake, like planning groceries decades out, released 20 September. I've read plenty. The crunch is what extra years cost.
