Treasury forecasts life expectancy of almost 90 for women, 86 for men

Treasury forecasts Australian women will live to almost 90 and men to 86 by 2065/66, up from about 86 and 82 at present. The figures come from an extract of the intergenerational report released 20 September. I've read plenty of these 40-year forecasts; the test is what longer lives cost.
