Trained ambulance crews can give out 232 medicines

Trained paramedics, or ambulance workers, will be able to prescribe 232 medicines, Health Minister Simeon Brown has announced. According to RNZ, the list is for common infections and urgent or community care. Hato Hone St John welcomed it, with deputy chief executive Jon Moores calling the list sensible.
