Trump Wants New Group to Help AI Grow

President Donald Trump said Sept. 19, 2026, he is creating an 'AI Force' and will name its leader 'in the near future.' He compared it to the Space Force, the team for space. He said the U.S. will cherish, help and watch over companies building smart computer tools rather than slow them.
