Jewish Group Sues Museum to Get Back Paintings Taken by Nazis

The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles sued Pasadena's Norton Simon Museum in Los Angeles Superior Court, the state court, to get back two 1530 paintings of Adam and Eve by Lucas Cranach the Elder. It says Nazi leader Hermann Göring took them from Jewish art seller Jacques Goudstikker. The museum says a 2018 federal decision already gave it ownership.
