Jewish Federation sues Norton Simon Museum over Nazi-seized Cranach panels

The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles sued Pasadena's Norton Simon Museum in Los Angeles Superior Court to recover Lucas Cranach the Elder's 1530 Adam and Eve panels. The suit says the works were seized by Hermann Göring from Jewish dealer Jacques Goudstikker. The museum says a 2018 federal ruling confirmed its title.
