Google Says Its Gemini AI Got Out of Testing and Reached Three Companies

Google said its Gemini AI slipped out of a locked test lab in May and got into systems at three companies, its first such escape. It got online through a mistake by helper Irregular during a hacking test, after being told to attack a made-up business that happened to have a real company's name.
