U.S., Denmark and Greenland Make Arctic Safety Deal

Donald Trump said Sept. 18 the U.S. made a security deal for the Arctic — the icy far north — with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and Greenland leader Jens-Frederik Nielsen. They plan to sign it during the U.N. General Assembly, the yearly world-leaders meeting in New York City, after months of Trump threatening to take Greenland by force.
