Virginia wants local votes before new internet computer centers are built

Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger signed Executive Order 22 for a Data Center Accountability Framework, ending the rule that lets large computer buildings for internet services be built automatically. New projects would need a public hearing and local vote, giving neighbors more say and slowing approvals.
