HPV Vaccine Stopped Hundreds of Cervical Cancers in Young English Women

England's HPV vaccine program prevented around 448 cervical cancer cases in women under 30 between 2016 and 2019, according to new NHS data. It's the first clear proof the vaccine works in real life. But England's vaccination rates—77% of girls, 71% of boys—remain below the 90% needed to eliminate the disease entirely.
