Supreme Court keeps mail-vote rule on hold for November election

The Supreme Court on Sept. 14, 2026, turned down the request to pause the case Postal Service v. California, the Court's order said. That means the court order stopping parts of the U.S. Postal Service mail-voting rule stays in place for the November 2026 election.
