MP Bayly says he quit top jobs over a misunderstanding

National MP Andrew Bayly, who represents Port Waikato and is leaving Parliament, says he gave up his senior government roles because he wrongly thought a staff member had complained. In his farewell speech, he said losing the roles was one of the hardest things he has been through, RNZ reported.
