Bayly says he resigned portfolios on false premise over staff complaint

Outgoing National MP for Port Waikato Andrew Bayly says he resigned from his ministerial portfolios on a false premise, wrongly believing a staff member had complained. In his valedictory speech, he described the resignation from Cabinet as one of the most brutal experiences of his life, RNZ reported.
