UK may join new bank to pay for defence

The BBC said finance minister John Healey is thinking about the UK joining the Defence, Security and Resilience Bank. The bank, led by Canada, would work like a bulk-buy deal to help governments borrow more cheaply to spend more on the armed forces. His predecessor Rachel Reeves had said no to the idea. No decision has been announced.
