B.C. party says former staffer approved private detective

B.C. Conservatives say former senior staffer Elaine Allan approved hiring a private detective. Party president Mauro Francis asked lawyer Bruce Hallsor to check the claims. Hallsor gave an early report but would not say who the detective was or who was looked into. Allan has lost her job.
