Anthropic Says Its AI Now Does Much of Its Own Research Work

Anthropic says its AI assistant Claude now handles 26% of its research work largely on its own, given a basic instruction and checked by people. In over 90% of research, AI does big pieces of the work under close human guidance. The company shared the figures in a blog post suggesting common rules for reporting AI progress.
