Anthropic says Claude 'leads' 26 percent of its AI R&D work, completing most of a task end-to-end from a high-level prompt under human supervision. AI contributes 'large chunks of work under close human direction' across over 90 percent of research. The figures appeared in a blog proposing standards for reporting AI development pace.
