Pennsylvania Wants Measles Help — But Only If 4 Deaths Are Counted

Pennsylvania asked the country's main health agency, the CDC, to send emergency helpers to track its measles outbreak, like calling in extra doctors during a crisis. It will cancel the request unless the CDC publicly confirms four measles deaths. Health chief Debra Bogen wrote that in a Wednesday letter to CDC head Erica Schwartz, saying denial weakens the response.
