Meta left a lifelike fake video of a Scottish politician falsely saying refugees are welcome here 'even if they rape our women, because white people do that too.' Sept. 17, 2026, its Oversight Board said it should be removed as hateful and marked as AI-made. Meta kept it because no trusted partner flagged it and it had no AI label.
