Instagram Lets You Add Different Captions to Each Photo in a Post

Instagram now lets creators write a separate caption for each photo in a multi-photo post (up to 20 photos). Before, one caption covered all the photos. The change, live as of mid-June 2026, makes it easier to label diagrams, post in multiple languages, or explain steps one by one without awkward workarounds.
