Apple forced to let other companies run app stores on iPhones in Brazil

Apple has settled a competition case in Brazil by agreeing to let other companies create app stores on iPhones. Users will be able to buy apps and pay directly without going through Apple. Brazil joins the EU, South Korea, and the UK in forcing Apple to open up its previously closed system.
