New Breast Cancer Drug Available to 1,000 Women in England

About 1,000 women yearly in England with advanced, spread breast cancer carrying little HER2 growth protein can get drug Enhertu on the NHS. The watchdog NICE backed routine use on 17 September 2026 after a price deal between ministers, NHS England, AstraZeneca and Daiichi Sankyo. Wales and Northern Ireland are likely to follow; Scotland has offered it since December 2023.
