Automattic's temporary head Mark Davies and top lawyer Andy Missan signed each other's exit-pay deals on September 10, according to documents reviewed by TechCrunch. It happened while regular head Matt Mullenweg was on paid time off. The company's directors had put Mullenweg on leave September 9.
