Automattic Interim CEO and Legal Chief Signed Each Other's Severance Deals

Automattic interim CEO Mark Davies and Chief Legal Officer Andy Missan signed each other's severance agreements on September 10, while CEO Matt Mullenweg was on paid leave. Davies signed Missan's deal and Missan signed Davies's, according to documents reviewed by TechCrunch. The board had placed Mullenweg on leave September 9.
