
Lawmakers push to keep companies from running doctors' offices
Warren, Wyden, Merkley, Hoyle, Ocasio-Cortez and Subramanyam proposed a law September 16, 2026 to stop companies from running doctors' offices behind the scenes. It would close back-door ways companies control clinics. I see risk for companies built around owning clinics, but it may not pass and details will decide what counts as control.
