Online school allowed to grow to 3000 students

An online school can enrol 2000 students next year and 3000 in 2028. Aotearoa Infinite Academy opened in 2026 with 200 students, the Charter School Agency said. Charter schools are state-funded but run independently. At 2000 it would be among the 30 biggest schools; at 3000, among the top three to five.
