UK Worker Groups Vote to Boycott Israel

Britain's main union group, representing over 5.3 million workers, voted for the first time to back the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions campaign to isolate Israel economically. Proposed by Artists' Union England at the September 2026 Brighton meeting, it asks London to impose broad sanctions, or trade punishments, and end weapons sales and military teamwork.
