UK May Let Mayors Have a Say on Water Companies

The UK government is thinking about letting city mayors and local leaders watch over water companies through nine local groups, acting like local watchdogs. These groups could guide where some money is spent and ask company chiefs about bills and sewage. The idea comes from a report called the Cunliffe review. Nothing is decided yet.
