Seven Women Found Dead Near Johannesburg Airport

Seven women have been found dead near Johannesburg's OR Tambo airport since 15 July, five in the past week to 16 September. Police found them in Kempton Park, Olifantsfontein and south-east of the city. The deaths are raising questions about South Africa's crisis of killings and violence targeting women, which President Ramaphosa called a national crisis in November 2025.
