Seven Women Found Dead Near Johannesburg Airport Since July

Seven women's bodies have been found around Johannesburg's OR Tambo airport since 15 July, including five in the week to 16 September. Police report victims in Kempton Park, Olifantsfontein and south-east of the city. The cluster sharpens scrutiny of South Africa's femicide crisis, after President Ramaphosa declared gender-based violence a national crisis in November 2025.
