Labour and National disagree on nurse hiring

Labour deputy leader Carmel Sepuloni says only 54 extra nurses started work from March 2024 to March 2026. National deputy leader Nicola Willis told RNZ Morning Report National added 2,100 nurses from September 2023 to March 2024. Labour says those nurses were hired while it was in government.
