ChatGPT Reached a Third of U.S. Adults Faster Than Smartphones Did

ChatGPT reached one-third of American adults in 2.5 years. The iPhone took six years to do the same. Broadband was even slower. Today, nearly two-thirds of Americans under 50 use chatbots—AI programs you can talk to like a person. Younger adults have adopted them even faster: 58 percent of people under 30 use them.
