Saudi Arabia Shuts Oil Pipeline After Attack as Oil Price Jumps to $108
Saudi oil company Aramco closed its East-West pipeline, which carries oil, after a Houthi attack. Reuters, citing shipping sources, says loading stopped at Yanbu, a port on the Red Sea. The oil price rose nearly 3% to $108 a barrel, above $100 on Sept. 15. Aramco had used Yanbu more since the U.S.-Israel war on Iran began in late February.
