Could £72m gifts to Reform UK be against the rules?

Ministers want the Lords, Parliament's checkers, to change the Representation of the People Bill, the election law, to test whether two gifts totalling £72m to Reform UK were allowed. The gifts came from Ben Delo and Christopher Harborne, both recently living abroad. Mr Farage said they followed the rules. MPs have approved the Bill, now checked by the Lords.
