Report on Nurse Who Killed Babies Expected to Fault Hospital

The Thirlwall investigation into nurse Lucy Letby is due early afternoon 15 September 2026. It looked at how Letby murdered babies in 2015-2016 in the ward for sick newborns at Countess of Chester Hospital. It is expected to say the hospital failed to keep patients safe. Letby was found guilty of murdering seven babies and trying to kill seven more.
