Rights groups want Europe to ask about Canada's police online bill

European Digital Rights, Access Now and others asked Europe's Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European lawmakers to bring up Bill C-22 in trade talks about the Internet. The bill would force phone and Internet companies to build in tools for police to watch users. Mark Carney was due to visit Europe and speak to European Parliament in Strasbourg.
