Court Agrees to Free Youngest Snowtown Killer
A South Australian appeals court backed the parole board — the panel that approves early release — to free James Vlassakis, the youngest person jailed in the Snowtown murders. He was 18 in 1998, admitted to four of 11 murders between 1992 and 1999, and gave evidence against John Bunting and Robert Wagner. His required 26 years were served.
