Supreme Court Allows Government to End Protected Status for Haitians and Syrians

The Supreme Court said the Trump administration can remove legal protection for over 350,000 Haitians and about 6,100 Syrians who had been allowed to live and work in the U.S. Secretary Noem announced the change in November 2025, with an end date of February 3, 2026.
