Your Train Cancelled? How to Catch Another One Free in the UK

From Sunday 20 September, if your train in Britain is cancelled you can take a different company's train for free, ministers said. The same free-switch rule already covers trains run by the government. Success will depend on how clearly staff explain which other trains count and handle full carriages.
