
Trump says U.S. won't slow smart-computer work to stay ahead of China
President Donald Trump said Sept. 13 at his Doonbeg golf resort in Ireland that his administration does not need to slow artificial intelligence development, computers that learn. He said fears it could run wild were overstated, U.S. leads China and added “whoever wins AI, wins.” He said “we can put guardrails, safety limits, we can do this and that.”
