Startup shares powerful lasers with defense company

Xcimer has partnered with RTX, the large company behind defense contractor Raytheon. Xcimer is trying to make energy the way the sun does, by aiming powerful lasers at fuel. RTX's investment fund provided money, and RTX can now test Xcimer's lasers for its own uses.
