Xcimer announces RTX partnership with funding and laser access

Laser fusion startup Xcimer has announced a partnership with RTX, a conglomerate that includes defense contractor Raytheon. RTX Ventures provided funding. Under the terms, RTX can explore using Xcimer's powerful lasers for its own purposes.
