BRICS Countries Call for Calm in Middle East War

BRICS, a club of developing countries, met in New Delhi in September 2026 and issued the New Delhi Declaration. Deeply worried about the Middle East war, it asks everyone to hold back. It condemns attacks on everyday services and peaceful atomic-energy sites, without blaming anyone. Iran and the UAE backed it, though Iran had struck the UAE in the war.
