XREAL Launches Glasses That Connect to Your Phone

XREAL is taking $99 reservations for Aura, AR glasses arriving fall 2026. Instead of packing all the computing power inside the glasses—making them hot and heavy—Aura connects wirelessly to your phone or tablet to do the work. That keeps the glasses lighter and cooler. The glasses run Google's Android XR software, the same system other companies will use, so apps work across different hardware.
