Tooro King Oyo Buried, But No New King Yet

King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, 34, was buried in Fort Portal on Sept. 12. He led Tooro since age three and died during cancer treatment in the US. Thousands mourned, but a dispute over his successor disrupted the funeral, leaving the post empty. These kings lead on culture and tradition, not in government.
