LG says its TVs are not always listening to you

LG said September 12 its smart TVs do not constantly record or send what you say, responding to findings from Gamers Nexus, Level1Techs and independent researchers. Listening for its wake-up command happens inside the TV itself, like ears that do not call out, the company said. It said recent news reports created misunderstandings about how its TVs work.
