LG denies smart TVs continuously record user conversations

LG said September 12 its smart TVs do not continuously record or transmit users' conversations, responding to findings from Gamers Nexus, Level1Techs and independent researchers. Wake-word detection is processed locally, the company said. It said recent media coverage contributed to misconceptions about how its smart TVs work.
