A new Ebola outbreak spreads without a vaccine to stop it

The DRC has confirmed over 500 cases of a specific Ebola type called Bundibugyo. The existing Ebola vaccine doesn't work against it. Doctors usually contain outbreaks by vaccinating people around confirmed cases—a strategy that worked before. This time, that tool isn't available. The outbreak continues without this defense.
