Labour promises action on Israel and Palestine

Labour leader Chris Hipkins says a Labour government would punish Israel with trade restrictions, alongside the UK, Canada and France, and officially recognise Palestine as a country. He called the government's Gaza stance "an embarrassment" and said New Zealand is "missing in action." Foreign Minister Winston Peters says New Zealand doesn't usually use trade to make foreign policy points.
