Eufy's new sensor detects falls without cameras

At IFA 2026, Eufy showed a Fall Detection Sensor that uses radio waves — like the ones in speed radar — to sense when someone falls, no cameras or wristbands needed. It includes a speaker and microphone so a caregiver can talk to the person right away. The design focuses on elder care and privacy. Pricing and availability were not announced. Few competing products do this today.
